If you or a loved one is trying to get life insurance because they are battling with health challenges, there are some horribly low quality programs out there you really need to avoid.
If you’ve turned a television on during the hours of 9am to 1pm within the continental United States, it’s highly probable that you have been assaulted with life insurance commercials.
The problem with any of these companies that dominate the daytime airwaves is that they have a one-size-fits-all product no matter how good or bad someone’s health, all based on age. Because they are consistently spending millions of dollars for their commercials, it’s no surprise that they pass these advertising costs on to their consumers. Here’s exactly how they do it.
A common practice among these companies is that they measure their coverage in units as opposed to dollars, which can be misleading. They typically charge a flat rate for coverage on a “per unit” basis that provides a relatively low amount of coverage when compared to other nationally branded companies. It has been reported that the coverage amounts can sometimes be as low as half (50%) of what the consumer could qualify for with other reputable insurers.
This in turn means that senior consumers who are surviving from paycheck to paycheck on a fixed monthly income could be spending as little as half (50%) of what these television spammers are charging them for superior coverage. When every dollar counts, it seems almost predatory to be inundating the airwaves with ads that cost the consumer so much more.
After seeing the television ad that states they will not be asked any health questions, many seniors call in thinking it may be their only chance to qualify for coverage. What’s been reported is that no matter what level of health they maintain, all consumers are given a two year waiting period to begin their policies. This means that if they die within the first 2 years of coverage, the only death benefit their families will collect is a return of their premiums with interest.
The great news is that in most cases, consumers may no longer have to endure this two year waiting period! We’ve uncovered the best way to cut that waiting time in half, or possibly eliminate it altogether!
Before assuming that this is your only option, consider the following.
There are some health conditions that are considered to be higher risk than others, however, unless you have experienced any of the following conditions, you may be eligible to cut your waiting period in half or you could qualify for day-one immediate coverage:
HIV, ARC or AIDS
Bedridden or confined
End-stage or terminal illness
Alzheimer’s disease or dementia
Kidney dialysis
Daily oxygen use (excluding CPAP)
Complications from diabetes
Implanted defibrillator
Organ transplant
Cancer (some exclusions apply)
Again, if you have one of the mentioned conditions, companies may be forced to “grade” or “modify” the insurance benefit because they must stay “solvent”, which means they cannot risk going out of business by losing too much money. If they were to pay out full death benefits after collecting less than two years worth of premiums, it is possible the insurer could lose control of their available funds to pay out death benefits for all of their policyholders.
However, there are many companies that charge as much as 50% less than the companies that advertise on television for the same coverage. This savings is created by carriers that maintain a much lower advertising budget. They pass on that savings to consumers who buy policies.
For nearly everyone else, it is entirely possible to qualify for coverage with a reduced waiting period, or possibly no waiting period at all. Click here to get a free no obligation quote today.

Unfortunately, my Father passed away over a decade ago which was way before his time. Even in death, he thought of his family first and fulfilled his goals: paying off our family homestead, settling all of his debts including vehicles and credits cards. He even left behind enough to take care of his final expenses. He is my inspiration for serving your family now.
We Thank God everyday that he was prepared for the worst. Dad lived his life to the fullest, as if every day was his last. I didn't realize it at the time, but he taught me how to plan for the worst, even if it seems unnecessary.
There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of my Father fondly. How completely selfless his decision was to protect my Mother from losing everything; the house, the cars, etc. Everything was taken care of.
We know without question that he loved us more than we could have known at the time. Families you know will be torn apart this year by heart attack, cancer, stroke, overdose, diabetes, or other health issues.
