Financial Strategy Session

Thank you! I’ve said or done that intrigued you enough to schedule a 1-on-1 conversation, and for that I am flattered and appreciate your interest.

This may be the most appropriate time to set your expectations. 

There are a few things I avoid at all costs during our sessions, so please don’t expect:

  • Talking about myself.  While I’m happy to answer questions and share my story, these sessions are centered around you.  I will ask you some questions to get to know you and your needs to determine whether or not I’m personally able to provide you real, tangible value.

  • A “one-size-fits-all” solution.  Everyone has some questions or concerns about money management and how to minimize taxes, maximize profits, use debt strategically, aviod risk, and luckily these are all things I’ve received praise and compliments for!  That’s what I do.

  • Long uncomfortable silences.  I try to keep things light, so I hope you like to laugh a little.  If you don’t think I’m funny, just tell me, I won’t be offended.  It will save us both from my dad-humor.

The purpose of our meeting is to allow me to gain perspective on your overall financial health and well being. 

By the end of our time together, we will determine that one of three things is true:

  • If I cannot personally provide value and I don’t personally know anyone who can, I’ll just tell you.  That's perfectly fine and I'm open to just being friends.

  • I may recommend you to another expert I trust who can get you exactly what you need.  That way I know you’re in good hands and we can still be friends.

  • You may wildly benefit from my specialized knowledge.  If you agree, we'll develop your plan of action together and get you moving in the right direction. As a result, we may end up becoming great friends!

There you have it. Now you understand why I lovingly refer to this time as a "Strategy Session”.

No tired spiel, presentation, song or dance.  My pet peeve is wasting people’s time. 

My soft spot is identifying bottlenecks or other challenges, realizing tactical solutions and enabling course correction.

My passion is teaching.  That's why I continue reinvesting tens of thousands of dollars into my education every year, not because I have to but because I have a burning desire to keep becoming a better, more well rounded me.  I can only speak for myself, but I believe that becoming “better” includes working less, making more, keeping more, and minimizing the costs to do so.

As a result, my rewards include having more time and resources to share with family and friends, making meaningful connections with other reputable professionals, getting to share the Cliff’s Notes of all of this expensive education I’ve amassed to save you tons of time and hassle in your own businesses and life.  Being a part of your success brings me true happiness.

Unfortunately, my Father passed away over a decade ago which was way before his time. Even in death, he thought of his family first and fulfilled his goals: paying off our family homestead, settling all of his debts including vehicles and credits cards. He even left behind enough to take care of his final expenses. He is my inspiration for serving your family now.

We Thank God everyday that he was prepared for the worst. Dad lived his life to the fullest, as if every day was his last. I didn't realize it at the time, but he taught me how to plan for the worst, even if it seems unnecessary.

There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of my Father fondly. How completely selfless his decision was to protect my Mother from losing everything; the house, the cars, etc. Everything was taken care of.

We know without question that he loved us more than we could have known at the time. Families you know will be torn apart this year by heart attack, cancer, stroke, overdose, diabetes, or other health issues.

For whomever you love most,
